More viral protective steps plus what to do if you contract it

I hope you’re getting through this tough social isolation time! Since the virus continues to spread, I thought it would be helpful to let you know what to do in case you or someone you love gets this coronavirus. Please share this out with anyone who could benefit!

Support your lungs and immune system now!

I know this might seem like a lot of supplements to some of you, but if you want to prevent succumbing to this OR to heal better if you do contract it, this will be well worth it! Everything I’m mentioning here is available at a discount on our Wellevate dispensary. You can also typically find these at a good health food store.

We already talked about the basic vitamin support that the Orthomolecular Medicine Institute put out, which is proven to help against viruses:

Vit C 1,000 mg 3 times a day; Vit D3 5,000 IU for 2 weeks, then 2,000 IU; Zinc 20 mg a day; Selenium 100 mcg a day (or eat 1 brazil nut a day); Magnesium 400 mg a day.

Quercitin was not on the Institute’s list but does have a proven track record as an anti-viral and anti-bacterial agent. It will help you deal with pollen season too! Take 500 mg twice a day. And N-Acetyl-Cysteine is a fabulous lung protector and also helps your liver. In fact, this is what emergency rooms use to save the lives of people who have taken too much Tylenol! Take 500-650 mg twice a day.

One reason people succumb and die from this virus is that the lungs cannot oxygenate the body well. Adding ChloroOxygen to your routine will help develop your blood cell’s capacity to carry oxygen. Take 18 drops in liquid twice a day.

Besides supplements, consider these tips

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the lungs and large intestine are directly related to each other. If your bowels are not moving well and regularly, toxins will attempt to come out via your lungs, which puts more stress on them. Support your bowels by drinking plenty of water, getting moderate exercise, not sitting for extended periods of time, and adding more fiber to your diet. I love adding 1-2 Tbsp of ground flax seed to food or a smoothie.

Additionally, remove ALL scented products from your home…. Air fresheners, scented laundry detergents and dryer sheets, and personal care products that contain scents keep your lungs constantly irritated. Using real essential oils is fine. Read labels and even if it says “natural scents” steer clear!

Additional support not sold over the counter

If you want to use these, call our office at 770-817-8028 to order. If you have any symptoms, we will either ship them to you or leave them out for you. Our office policy now (in addition to stringent cleaning and disinfecting) is to not have anyone come inside who has (or has had) any cold-like or flu-like symptoms in the last 48 hours. These products make a huge difference, as you know if you’ve ever used them!

San Shedan- This Chinese herbal product can even beat pneumonia! You can keep this on hand, in case you get sick. No need to use if asymptomatic. Drink 1 vial 2-3 times a day to relieve lung distress.

Peppermint Oil- This is great to use when in public (hey we do have to get groceries sometimes!) Regular peppermint essential oil is NOT ok for oral consumption, but ours is specially made for oral use. Take 1 drop orally as needed (twice a day to help prevent).

Pulmonest- We add to this our famous cold & flu homeopathic prep, plus additional lung support. Use 20 drops twice a day to prevent and 3-5 times a day if you become ill.

Email me at debra@nature-heals.com if you believe you have contracted this or another virus and I will adjust doses and do all I can to help you.

Stress relief is important!

This is a challenging time for us all to get through. Get outside when you can and distract yourself with a funny movie or a good book. Don’t constantly watch or listen to the news, as it is very inflammatory.

I love you all and we are here for you!
